So far Netflix has been well worth it for me, oh, and you can add me as a friend on netflix, and view all the movies i've watched, and that I have in my queue! JOY!

Eastern Victory

Michelle & I went to Eastern State Penitentiary this weekend in Philadelphia, PA!
It was pretty bad ass...and cold as a witches bath water too. We survived.

It's a pretty amazing place...So much history, and right there where you're standing. The cells, the corridors, the eerie feeling of the place is quite tangible. My favorite part was seeing inside the cells at the old tables and clutter that has been there for a century!

I worked Friday & today doing a promotion giving away Blackberry Storms! Argh, I wish i could have won one... We gave away about 100 of them in Times Square in the rain.

It's the first touchscreen blackberry, and it clicks. I know, but you'll have to use it to understand.

Hey girls and ghouls.
I worked a Hennessy party Last night..It was pretty hype. Haven't heard that word in quite some time have you..well, there were some big names there, singers, actors, models, the whole 9. Day 26 was there, but looked quite miserable. Aubrey was there prancing through the crowd as though she was Paris or something. DJ jazzy jeff spun some good shyte, and Ne-yo & Leona Lewis Put on a good show! I basically had to stand there giving out Hennessy drinks and smile. I'm not really into the whole "celeb" scene, so to me, most people just seemed vaguely familiar, oh well.

Some things never cease to astonish me.
Can you believe there are so many...an absurdly large amount of people who actually feel this way..... I hope you all are voting in this election. It's beyond crucial.
I'll admit, i'm not super political, or extremely educated in Government, Law, or Politics..but I'm not dumb either. I watch the news, and have been keeping up with the debates, and the fiasco leading up to the 08 Election.

Hey there :)

I just made chocolate chip cookies. They were DIVINE. I used my new cookie sheet, and that baking paper that is just amazing. Yes, i know what I sound like, get over it. Anyway, I saw
the movie "Soul Men" with Torey, and its a definite must see. It's classic Bernie Mac!

The 2nd prototype of a new age of fashion! The designer and I walked through the streets, and the first block we had two people ask us about our outfits and ask for cards. Crazy!

It's called the "Apront".
I definitely feel like a Final Fantasy character, all I need is the over-sided sword. Just wait till the Fashion show :)

I finally got to see my parents..its been forever! I was gone all August on vacation, and then in september, they went to Hawaii for like two weeks. We hit costco and walmart, and I came out like a bandit! Got some new underwear, socks and loads of good food. I think i'll write them a thank you note for that.

I hate when people make fake profiles of me. The good thing is my network is huge, and they let me know. ugh. here are a few....I have them reported, so they may be de-activated by the time you read this.

Oh shnap, i almost forgot! So..I was on TV on sunday! it was great... on the BIOGRAPHY channel, a show called "Watching the Detectives". Hopefully i'll be able to get it on the computer, or they'll show reruns and stuff, so i can let you know when to watch. The show comes on every Sunday @ 9pm, so keep an eye out because i've done more episodes.

I don't have any lines, but there is only three of us in the scene, so hopefully i'll get some

It's been a little while :)
Sorry about that. Lots of shtuff going on. I've started drawing again, which is really good for my soul.

I haven't seen my parents in forever. they were in Hawaii for a few weeks, but are back home in Jersey now. I gotta free up some time and get down there.

It's really late right now, but I thought I'd just say hello.
I wore my "Moscow Circus" T-shirt today. It's actually my moms, although i'm sure she hasn't thought about it for years. It fits me well, so its mine now :P

dads webshots account. They just got back from Hawaii yesterday. He's lost about 50 lbs
since this photo was taken. And he's lost the beard. He wears it grizzly to be a chocolate Santa for my nephews. These are my nephews..."Burn After Reading" : really funny movie, go check it out.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

Thursday. What a day. Call-back for Burlington, I went on the 1st audition Monday. Its nice when u know u did something right. Went home after that, I hadnt eaten, plus my next audition was back in the city at 3:45 for 90210. I ate some pancakes, relaxed a bit...took a quick nap, then had to head to CBS headquarters on 52nd st. I listened to my ipod as I waited to be called, which was about 20 minutes. I realized that two songs that help me with pre-audition jitters are "rock witu u" by janet and "miss new booty" by bubba sparxx. Dont laugh, its one of those songs that just makes u laugh, but is still hot! Anyway, I went in and read with the casting director...it was bright inside, and we both stood whike we ran through the lines....thats one of those little nuances of auditions...u dont know If you'll be sitting or standing, and it does make a difference. Luckily, I was on point with the lines, maintaining a level of "swag" necessary to "nail" the audition. Oh well I felt good about it, thats a victory in my eyes. Headed to the gym after that, all is well, got my work out on cam bck to my locker and notice thelock is bent... I open it. Yup, money from my wallet is gone, monthly metro card is gone. Violated. Considering I was lucky I only had about 50 bucks in my wallet, and they didnt take my credit cards or mycamera or anything else in my wallet. I filed a report just I case, and notified my credit crd companies ust in case. Ugh, humans can be such base and vile creatues sometimes. Oh well, what can you do except swallow the loss an keep it moving.

I think I might actually be able to relax tomorrow! We'll see how it goes...

It's pretty good...but it doesn't get in as close as my other one! My dsc-w70 is my love. The macro is incredible. but i'm gonna keep this one, and just have two guns.

So i've been working as a gogo In-flight rep, and no, It doesn't involve taking off my clothes..
gogo is internet wi-fi that is available on select aircrafts flying from JFK t0 LAX, San Fran, and Miami. I've been flying back and forth to LA.

As you could imagine, flying in an airplane is not the most roomy of situations. You have attendants, passengers, rules, regulations, lots of things that made me a tad uneasy about my
first flight. Would I be annoying? Would I be able to get these people hooked up to the net?
Well, I must say, it wasn't what I expected.

The Flight attendants first of all, are amazing. They are really nice. I know what you're thinking..but yes, the men and women alike. I know what you're thinking now too, now lets
move on. anyway.... They really took care of me..sandwiches, cookies (made for first class) soda,
chips, it was nice to know that they looked out for me. Some of my flights out I had to be there early..which means leaving 2 hours earlier for the trek from Astoria to JFK airport.

I sit economy...its nice when I get a free seat next to me, but mostly I was next to someone. I had my green gogo shirt on, a laptop, and blackberry. I let the attendants use the laptop a lot, they loved it. There was this one guy, a portly jewish fellow...he was a little off. he was my first passenger who required my assistance. Unfortunately it wasn't even for or about the gogo internet service. It was a pdf e-mail his computer couldn't read...which led to him wanting me to convert his computer to Hebrew, which turned into him showing me photos of his past vacations. I tried to politely ask if he needed help so i could leave, but he insisted he had another question about a picture..and he had to find it, which led to more picture viewing. Luckily the attendants noticed he was off earlier, and came to the rescue.."Oh, another passenger in the back needs help". once i left, they said..nah we just knew you needed help. I knew it would be A ok from there.

I helped people get connected..its pretty simple, except computers, blackberries, operating systems..they're all so different, so sometimes i'd have to just troubleshoot my way to victory, sometimes it just wouldn't work. mostly work computers that couldn't directly connect to an internet without first being routed through the company first... ok, this stuff is boring, i'll get to the people I met.

On one flight from LAX to JFK, I sat next to a very nice Caucasian lady, who was heading out to the east coast to meet up with some friends. She was about...mid 30's maybe, husband and two kids who she told me about, and showed me photos on her newly made facebook! We both got free cookies and milk from one of the Attendants, they liked us.

On another flight from LA to JFK, I sat next to a professional Dancer named Flipz, check out his work at www.flipz.us Really cool guy, We talked about work, and life and all that stuff. He's danced on tour for Janet Jackson, and also been in movies like Idlewild & You got Served. He was heading to a commercial shoot here in NYC, i'm sure he killed it!

On a flight from JFK to LAX, I sat two seats away from an elderly lady from Egypt. We hardly spoke, her first words to me being, "Thats favortism". As she noticed one of the attendance give me a cookie. Oh my, this is an incident isn't it, I thought. I leaned over, eyebrows up in a most diplomatic expression, "Oh..I work for American Airlines"... I was sure i'd have to give her half of my cookie, but she smiled and told me it was a joke. haha, we got to talking a bit after that about her 9 grandchildren, some in ny, where she had just come from. She told me I had lots of charisma, and that I would go far. I didn't even know she noticed me really. She told me, "bon arrive", when we landed. She was proficient in french. (good arrival) :)

On my last flight, back to JFK, I sat on the end of a middle row, with an older Caucasian gentlemen who was stuck in the middle. He didn't seem to mind much. We got to chatting after a few hours into the flight. He was on his way to knock off 3 things on his "Bucket List". If you've heard of the movie, its really good. He hadsn't seen it, but that doesn't matter much. He had a cd player, which i thought was cute, that he pulled out, after penciling in some logistics on a large map of the US, which we were flying over. Later I saw him looking over some written baseball stats and batting averages. On his list was to visit Yankee Stadium, and a few others in the area to see games, and things like that. It made me happy that he was doing things he's always wanted to do, and he was flying alone, meeting one of his sons I believe in new york. I told him about my headcold, and that I had to chew gum like a cow, and he informed me that he had a small bag of jellybeans that he would eat in case he started feeling aches in his back because of the pressure when landing/take-off. He was elated when I mentioned jelly bellies, and told me that when he visits his daughter in Northern california, he always stops at the factory, he's been 5 or 6 times. He used to coach baseball and football. He told me that when he used to be a hot headed redneck, and one of his coaches one day put him in his place, and made him think about his life. When he spoke about it, I could tell that it was something that had truelly affected the way he would be from that day on.

I got to see some old friends in LA, which was nice, it was nice to get out o f the Hotel. The beach was a little chilly, but it was nice at night. I believe we were in Venice.

Alright..i gotta get going, its already almost 2pm!

I started reading "The Host" it's pretty darn good so far! As you all know, I read her "twilight" series earlier, which was also really good. I'm awaiting the final book "Breaking Dawn" i think it is, once goob finishes up with it.

I bought LU biscuits. They're so good. They're french. Go try some. You'll find'em in your cookie isle trust me.

I need a bowl. I hate eating salads in the container you get them in cause when you try to mixed it up and make it all wonderful it gets everywhere and spills out. yeah yeah, i know but what if its not the type you can close and shake the shit out of huh? what then? You're stuck. I lost a solid chunk of chicken the other day cause it stumbled out and reached the floor. It's upsetting. It's borderline personal.

I feel the breaking of a new dawn. yeah yeah breaking dawn, get over it. Anyway, I am. i'm changing..i'm evolving. Life is reaching a plateau, and Its nice. Things are becoming clearer, i'm becoming ok with myself. I mean, i've been ok with myself, but I'm starting to regain a lost sense of self assuredness (wow i spelled that right!). I am becoming. What? who? it doesn't matter.
It's still me, but enlightened. it happens to us all, but its hard to slow down enough to notice. Or to speed up enough to catch it. The things i've lost, the things of gained. The good, the bad, and the ugly. I'm very complex. No one will totally understand, including me.

I think the past year has taught me how important my salad is. You don't understand but you will. Life can be so stressful. So busy. But the salad I have in the fridge, that i'm going to eat soon, will be good. I don't have worries, and i'm not depending on anything right now. My Salad will encompass me (and the tv), and I will devour it. It's deeper than salad, yes, but is it really? No. What are YOU to me? What have we done for one another? I am a part of your life. The fact that you're reading this sentance means i'm shaping your future. I have. The whole salad thing, that you already forgot about, well that doesn't matter anymore. But you do matter.

It's tough to realize that everything you do, and everything you've done is you. It shapes you. It shapes you because it shapes how people see you. And if they're eyes are blind, then it shapes how they feel about you. I'm not talking about seeing. What is right, what is wrong? who should go and who belongs? There are too many factors to ever really have a grasp on life.

But my salad.
I can and will grasp my salad.
And in grasping my salad will come hope.

Let me tell you, its a doozy of a drive! Granted I didn't drive the whole way
but still, you're in the car for a while. You're sitting. you're in the car for a long time.
It was fun though. It had its ups, its downs, and its blow-outs...(of which i hid in the closet).
I went with Goob & her family, and the dog. Dude. the dog drove all the way down with us.
It's not a little dog either, she was a foot assassin. turning in circles stepping on the bare flesh
of bear feet. Well, my feet. Our feet, there weren't actually any bears in the van with us on our
trip down. Wildebeast? Anyway...

I was away for quite some time...I'm back. All the student are going back to school..I remember those good old days. They don't even realize how much time faster will get once this school nonsense is over and done with. Everything just fuses together. Oh well. Paying rent will soon join the hierarchy of days...and nights.

Seriously, why are these oldschool retro ketchup & mustard squeeze bottles so elusive! I mean..yeah i could buy them online in bulk, but I'm only one guy, i don't need bulk. I've never needed that much ketchup or mustard to warrant bulk. bulk. bulk.

I had off today, i watched scare tactics and a special about Army recruiters on HBO on Demand. Oh, and wifeswap. What a great show!

Friday morning will bring stress. 3 auditions. I'm still on Hold for Ro-Car. thats what i'm calling it now. Still on hold. praying.

Yesterday, i took a photo with a few kids that new me from myspace, that was kinda funny.
The commercial went well..its for http://www.StopSign.com should be out around sept. So look out for that. Working on a show called "Guys list" or something like that Tomorrow for Spike.

So i've decided I want a new blackberry. I need video. I need a camera. All that in one. It's not asking for too much, it should be standard these days. I got my bb for free, so I guess i can't complain.

I took this photo while waiting around on set in W. Nyack NY at the Papa Johns set. Well...it was just a big super nice house where inside we had to be happy and smile and be at a party loving the pizza. Get this..I didn't even have a bite of pizza the whole day! Go figure. I think it'll be out around September, so keep an eye out.

Also, as you know, my lines got cut in my U5 (under five lines on a Soap Opera), but oh well..I still got U5 pay, which is much better than normal bg (background) pay. I booked a "Stop Sign" commercial for Tuesday..which is a computer virus/spyware thing..but I really want Royal Caribbean! argh.

On the couch. My navy hollister over my arms, the round burgoise bulbs turned low, a sink, a bed, flutter strewn about. I hate being late. A 2O,000 dollar callback is as good a reason as any to be late... But I'm here. I'm at work. Work for the day at least. I went to "hair", but they dismissed me, being that I have no hair. Make-up also dismissed me, claiming "I'm flawless". This is verbatim, although I am not by any means. I just fought and beat a monster that tried to mutate and grow on my nose. Ultra strength clearasil twice, maybe thrice a day was my weapon of choice, and I have survived...we, have survived. I say we because..I am not special or amazing. I'm the underdog. I'm the one who gets the short end of the stick. I do take the short end and make it really sharp, and I am an underdog with a plan, but I'm not hot shit. I can pretend to be, and fakin it till ur makin it can go a long way with enough brown sugar. Btw, I used the term "burgoise" yeah its french, I dont know if its spelled correctly, or if it even works in that context, but some words are pretty, and I gave it a shot. I'm developing a slight headache due to not eating. I shall go down to the little kitchenette area and see what I can find- a..pastrami sandwich with mayo. And a banana. Lovely. I got to set about 5 minutes after my call time, but that didn't matter much. The security guard at the front gave me my pre-printed pass, with my little photo on it, and a key... This is only my second time to BG for As the World Turns, so i'm not used to getting a key. The first time, they had us all down in a dungeon like room. So, i go up to this room "317" and slowly unlock the door. I felt a certain apprehension at what might be behind the door. Perhaps people were in this room doing lude and embarrassing things. Or perhaps as simple as a group of people talking in close quarters, and i'd have to jockey around awkwardly as they stop talking due to my intrusion and find a place to sit that would probably be uncomfortable. No one was in the room. Just a bed with no sheets, two mirrors on either side with those round bulbs around them, scattered magazines, actors headshots, and an array of shabby pillows and unwanted gifts. Another guy came in shortly after me, he was nice, and we proceeded on with the awkwardness of each others silence after all the niceties had been uttered. We both read, and every now and again I'd click through my blackberry and worry the sound might bother him. Maybe it was one of those tiny sounds that eats at you and you secretly want to scream at the person. But maybe he couldn't hear it at all, i chalk it up to me just having a courteous conscience. I went to warm up my cornbread i had brought with me in the little break type room, equipped with Internet a few chairs, a lounge, a tv, and all the things you need for quick cooking. I got some butters out of the small fridge and put them in the microwave to soften them up. I must have checked them about 3 or 4 times, after increments 20-25 second heatings, they just wouldn't soften. Beep after beep, stop, start, 2 5 start, stop....I could feel the 4 people sitting on the other end talking to one another just thinking.."hey do you need help over there with that microwave"? Finally it was spreadable, and i was able to enjoy my cornbread.

Did a promo for the LG "Vu" today. Ah man, i mean the new iphone came out, so everyone just wants that. It's amazing how i'm getting paid large sums of money for a photo shoot one day, and the next day i'm out on the street in my khaki pants/hat and a branded shirt being completely ignored by people who surely aren't "better" than me. Yeah that sounds arrogant, but you know what, i stand out there and smile and do my job, and i've put in my time being ignored to afford a little bit of arrogance every now and again.

I had Amy Ruth's The other night. It's a soul food restaurant in Harlem...
So good. So good it could blow the boots off a Texas hoe!!!

I go with the flow and without missing a beat respond, "A house negro" and a smile to which he respond.."oh, ok".

An Evening with Marc Ecko !

Whats up! So this weekend, I was home in Jersey, and had the awesome experience of meeting the man himself Mr. Marc Ecko, the man behind Ecko Unltd. Clothing...as well as Zoo York, G-Unit, and many more.

Marc Grew up in Lakewood, and we both went to Lakewood High School, and had the same Art Teacher! Thanks so much Mrs. Landesberg for this opportunity :)

I must say it was Surreal. Being back in my own school, (only about 10 or so Alumni were personally invited) And getting to meet Marc, who is an International Fashion Mogul now, and who I looked up to and still do admire greatly. His artwork is awesome. I wore the first Ecko shirt i'd ever bought "Powerful Potion" seen here:
This was unbelievably good for me. He spoke of passion, of believing in yourself, and of just doing what it takes to get what you want. They later had a Fashion show that the current students who'll be graduating this year put on, featuring his lines of Ecko clothing, it was great!

Out of all the celebs out there, this was special for me, to meet the one guy who really inspired and fueled my love for art, and for creativity. I think about 8th grade or so, is when i got into Ecko, and I still have every single item of clothing i bought. This makes me proud to be from Lakewood, and also has given me a kick in the butt to start drawing more and more, and to reach and strive, and strive more and reach further.

It was really good for me, It really hit home.

It's amazing how feelings can change day to day. From Great to not so much, then just to ok. Lost and then found. Innocence and guilt. The two things in which relationships are built. LIfe can get you down to your lowest of lows, from the bridge of your nose way down through your toes. Things can remind you you're very much alone. Nobody. Anybody.... Life can be like a knife, cutting and chopping. Inhale, exhale, it drives without stopping, chills to the bone like the temperature dropping. Open your eyes, have no fear. You must keep in mind that your savior is near. It's you, the enemy, its you the friend, its you that will make it through in the end. Evil begets evil, and good begets good, its hard to hold on, but you could if you would, bask in the sun when no sun is among, the sweet taste of life on the tip your tongue. The happiness within glows through to the skin, and here you must let a new journey begin. All the bad and wrong done to you, digest it down and start anew, like a dew covered bud reaching towards the sun, we must never stop reaching until we have won. Winning is surviving and climbing to bliss. Changing the world, or just a person, or just yourself or just a vision, the phenomenal power of a simple decision. A picture, a note, a smile the touch of a hand. The touch of nature of trees and wind, fire, inspire, the ocean. Open. Laughter, the sweet smells, the warm. Your. A touch of your soul makes it mean so much more. The time of struggle reminds us we're alive, without this balance, we'd never survive. Eyes!

It's been a weekend! I hope you had a lovely Valentines Day :)
I had to work Thursday, but I sent theeeeeese!
Massage chair what? Valentines Day celebrations...i was a little nervous, but all went well. We lit some candles and just talked. (after making a delightful dinner of tacos). Gifts and Dinner is just great but c'mon people if you cant just sit and talk and relax and be happy, it ain't the golden key. It ain't the honey bear. It ain't the iron-clad clementine.

Cinnamon sparkly graham crackers, Jet-puffed softee marshmallows, and hersheys symphony milk chocolate: Smores made for the gods.
So good. Go to your local grocery store and make them tonight. 2 night son.

Saturday was Movie Day Yay! 3 movies in one day! Oh yes, sneaky devils we are... Spiderwick, 27 dresses, definitely maybe! All pretty good. We did not eat healthy during movie day. I mean, what do you expect when you're locked into Concession stand goodies! (A whole helluvalot of mmmm) ;)

I think I missed Lost Thursday....
I bought toothpaste today. Colgate. It was on sale. You don't care. I watched Making the band 4 tonight. I like the song the guys sing. Oh, and I am starting to strongly dislike Aubrey. ugh. Alright. I need to get off this hot box. Have a grand ol night folks. :)

The scantily clad "Cupids" who paraded around Times Square this morning to publicize the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC Animals’ I Love NYC Pets month should thank Jebus the weather was so mild. But even if they had been forced to endure nipple-stiffening temperatures, it would’ve been for a good cause: All through February, the Alliance is sponsoring pet adoption events in all five boroughs, low-cost spaying and neutering programs, and extended adoption hours at area shelters. Of course, it’s a little funny how the dudes advocating for our furry friends are completely hairless themselves.

So yesterday wasn't the best day for me. oh well. It happens.
Well, it was awesome to go home and see my parents and my li'l nephs! I miss them already.

I watched the movie Pride with Terrance Howard..it was really good actually. It was on Encore on Demand. My parents have all the channels on demand, its awesome.

I'm dong better today. I brought food from home, thats always fun. I had to carry a big umm..well those soft cooler type things, with ice all in it.

My feet are really cold I should put on socks.
I read so much Harry Potter tonight...i'm on a frickin spiral and i can't pull out. C'mon get your mind outta the gutter!

I had to run to my callback yesterday during my lunchbreak at AMC! I made it though..2 hours early, but they still saw me. It was for NBC, a commercial. I just had to stand there and make some faces...you know, silly, natrual, smiley, umm.. sexy. I hated admitting that.

random fact:

I had three pieces of Oreo cake..well it was regular chocolate cake with icing and oreo's crumbled on top. 3.
I wanted carrot cake, but it had walnuts. God damn it. Way to ruin it. Way to ruin my life in those moments. With your damn nuts. If i'd have let a racoon loose on those cakes, nobody would have any. ( i didn't have a racoon)

I finished a new drawing tonight yay!
Well..its technically saturday..but you know.
It's friday.

NYC tip: if a subway comes, and all the cars are
packed except for one car with one person in it.
Don't go in. It will funking stink you in the face hard.
hasn't happened to me in awhile, but its fun to watch the
innocent people get on, then come bounding through the doors
half deceased from the plague of there ordeal.

I was in a zone earlier tonight drawing. Its the best.
I saw "The Great Debaters". Good movie, powerful.

Any word on Cloverfield? anyone seen it yet? hmm...i'm curious.
I like lost..but i'm not too sure.

I need to put in a dvd, eat my fruit and my little debbie oatmeal
